9:30 and 1:15
 

We are asking students to please wear dark pants and colorful shirts, preferably without writing on the front, and MANDATORY SNEAKERS

 

9:30 performers will be from the following classes:

Mrs. Cataldo, Mrs. Cote, Ms. Tozza, and Mrs. Piantedosi

 

1:15 performers will be from the following classes:

The Wilmington Public Schools Title I Program invites you to attend a special presentation for parents entitled, Selecting Books and Reading Aloud to Your Child.  Anyone interested is invited to attend this exciting program to learn more about the benefits and importance of reading aloud to children.  Guest presenter will be Shawsheen School assistant principal, Jason Fredette. 

Topics being discussed include:

· Research Behind the Value of Reading to Children

·The Benefits of Reading Aloud

· Guidelines and Tips for Reading to Children

· How to Create a “Reading Environment”

· Choosing Books for Read Alouds

· Organizing and Adding to Book Collections

· Favorite Authors and Favorite Stories
