 “The Science of Weather”

What is weather?  What is air pressure and how does it affect weather?  How does lightning form?  In this workshop Tom Wahle will use hands-on experiments to demonstrate basic science principles that affect our weather.  This is a fun way to get students to look at weather a whole new way.

He will be showing students that weather is FUN.  In addition to being fun, the activities are highly educational.  They reinforce the school’s curriculum, illustrate how concepts are applied to real life situations and incorporate state standards.

Be sure to ask your child what part of the program they liked best.
