Kindergarten Screening Volunteers Needed!

Screening for the incoming 2014-2015 kindergarten students will be held on April 29th, 30th and May 1st at the Wildwood School. We are in need of parent volunteers to assist with a piece of the vision screening that will occur during screening. There is no need for prior training.  Wilmington Optometrist, Dr. Foti, will be on hand to train parents.  It is a very simple, quick training that will be done when you come in to volunteer.   If you are able to help for all or part of the day, it would be greatly appreciated.

There are two sessions per day.  The morning session will be 9:00am -11:00am.  The afternoon session will be 12:30pm-2:00pm. We need 3 parent volunteers for each screening session each day (6 volunteers per day).  Please contact our school nurse, Michelle Yeomelakis, at the Wildwood School (978-694-6010) if you are able to volunteer or would like to gather more information about potentially volunteering.

Thank you for considering this important opportunity to help our students. Our vision screening cannot run smoothly without the assistance of parent volunteers.
