Transportation Information

• Students may enter the building after 8:00 AM. Please do not drop off children before this time. Supervision will not be available.
• All car-riders should be dropped off at the back parking lot. Children should enter through the side door next to the dumpster and go directly into the cafeteria. Please do not drop off in the bus lanes at the front of the school before 8:15.
• All bus routes have been listed in the local papers on August 26, 2010.
• Please have your children at their assigned bus stops at least 15 minutes prior to the time listed.
• Issues/concerns regarding bus routes, bus stops, etc. should be submitted via email to the transportation coordinator (susan.hardimon@wilmington.k12.ma.us).
• Please be patient during the first few weeks of school.  Many of these issues often resolve themselves over time as drivers become more familiar with their routes.
• All bus riders should only ride their assigned busses to and from school.  Because many of the busses are quite full, riding a different bus home (play dates, etc.) will not be allowed.  We greatly appreciate your adherence to this policy.
• Any change in your child’s transportation must be done in writing. For example, if your child generally rides the bus, and you will be picking them up on a particular day, please send in a note to your child’s teacher explaining this change.  No changes will be allowed without written notification.
